Gorgeous Topless Wahine Oil Painting on Black Velvet by Ralph Burke Tyree, circa 1965

Painting is 24" x 30"

Frame measures 29" x 35"

Tyree sold this painting to Minnie's Tiki Bar in Modesto, California, in the 1960s, and it was in that bar until I purchased it in 2009. At my direction, this painting has a velvet mat to hide burn marks from lights in the bar. The wahine is in great shape and beautiful.

The frame is an original Tyree-made oak frame with his traditional frame carvings from round rat-tail files. This painting is a huge and heavy piece (13+pounds)—a chance for you to own an original Tyree for $1500 plus shipping.
